coral and cream

a different version of my teabag invitation... this time for a bridal shower in tones of coral and cream.
a hand sewn silk mesh teabag is filled with lavender buds, and attached to a silk ribbon. the "tea tag" serves as the invitation with handpainted watercolor leaves and washy coral text.

paired with gorgeous coral calligraphed envelopes by laura hooper.
and finished with rounded corners.

seating tags

i made these tags for each placesetting at a baptism party.
each tag is hand calligraphed with a sweet little quote on crane's lettra cardstock.
the tags were cut into a classic luggage tag shape and individually hand painted with a hole reinforcement for charm.
the tags were threaded with wide bias cut hand dyed silk ribbon and finished with a sprig of fresh olive greens.

sweet baptism details

our handkerchief invitation adapted for a baptism.
printed on vintage handkerchiefs, each one is a little different.

wrapped in waxed tissue tied with linen and stainless steel thread topped vintage pearl button.
the gorgeous little details of vintage handkerchiefs... see the original name tag?
each invitation has a cross hand sewn with silk thread for that little detail.

finally, each one was beautifully addressed by laura hooper.

i love doing sets of stationery. makes them feel so special and complete. here are a couple that i have done lately...
a variation of the lucca letterpress announcement, this version has so many details... rounded corners, sewing around the edges of the announcements and on each envelope flap. each announcement has a little fabric pocket on the reverse to tuck a photo of the new baby.
to make the set, we added a thank you note with rounded corners and a line of stitching with two little leaves to compliment the announcement.

our patton style announcement, with an added notecard completing the set.

first birthday invitations

my newest design... a western themed party invitation.

packaged in little kraft boxes with wire closure details with wood excelsior filler. two little piggies with copper party hats welcome you (with smiles) as the box is opened.

each little invitation card is full of hand lettering and painted details and completed with rounded corners.

a hand painted chicken clucks out the rsvp information for the guests...
and a custom cattle brand style monogram for the birthday twins adorns the return address stamped in copper ink.
little woolen balls finish off the party hats with a pop of red.
with a sweet little stamp grouping, they are ready to go.
